Abstracts must be submitted before February 14, 2024 March 8, 2024 (extended deadline) at the following address:
Please indicate the requested form of presentation: oral or poster. Note that the number of oral contributed papers is rather limited and that most of the accepted papers will be presented as posters. The time allocated to invited talks is 30 minutes and short oral presentations 10 minutes.
The authors will receive confirmation by email on their abstract acceptance or refusal within two weeks following the submission deadline.
Presenters at the FCSE-2024 Symposium are invited to submit full articles arising from their work in a Special Collection Issue of the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology A on Multifunctional Coatings and Surfaces.

Guidelines
- Only include the main affiliation of each author.
- The abstract submission should be succinct (maximum 250 words), objective and technical. No trade names, trademarks, product names nor a commercial tone are to be used. It should clearly describe the novelty of the work to be presented.
- If you have added a figure, do not forget to edit it once it has been uploaded to include its caption (limit of one figure).
- Please advise us if you will need a Visa to attend the Symposium.
- All presenting authors must Early-Register for the FCSE-2024 Symposium no later than April 26, 2024. If the presenting author has not registered by this date, the organizers will have to remove the abstract from the scheduled program.
